| | DJ Tiƫsto - Forever Today | ] | Hmm... Summer's nearing and I want it to be a blast this time. But hell, I'll still follow my usual summer routine.
Following the example of ant_ithesis, with a bit of a twist:
I'd like you, LJ users, to comment and recommend me good books (despite the many people who say that I have good taste in books) and some musical acts (within the genres: Rock- Emo/Alt/Indie/Metal, Classical- Opera/Neo-classical, New Age- Celtic/Electro-Ancient fusions, Electronica- Lounge/Trance/Dance, Jazz- Bossa Nova/Modern/Oldie revivals, and Broadway musical theatre).
Exclude R&B/Hip-Hop from the list. It makes my ears bleed, and ruins my sanity. Mainstream will be welcome too (I don't listen to mainstream)as long as you can convince me that whatever you recommend me will be good... Oh, give me those with that flaming summer feel.
Summer reading list:
- "Without You" by Anthony Rapp
- "Sputnik Sweetheart" by Haruki Murakami
- "Dance Dance Dance" by Haruki Murakami
- "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman
- "Anansi Boys" by Neil Gaiman
For daily soundtrips:
- Anberlin
- Camera Obscura
- Hed Kandi
- Tiësto
- Panic! At the Disco
- Medicine Drum
- Jim Brickman
I am after all, a person who needs to be open-minded towards everything in this planet. |

Ack... I've always hated LJ for being so complicated when it comes to coding. I hate reading online tutorials and prefer books and face-to-face instruction over them. So here. Since I love interacting through the net, and find Xanga cool, but needs more visitors... Here. I'm introducing my Xanga to the LJ planet. Maybe I'll post here once in a while... |
